Lord
Fraser of Carmyllie QC today visited the site of the Scottish Parliament
as part of his ongoing Holyrood Inquiry.
During a three hour visit, Lord Fraser viewed some of the areas mentioned
in recent evidence, including the complex lightwell area and the foyer
roof.
Lord Fraser also visited the Debating Chamber and several of the Committee
Rooms as well as Queensberry House.
He was escorted by John Hyne, site executive for Bovis Lend Lease, and
accompanied by members of the Inquiry team and other interested parties.
Before touring the site, Lord Fraser met with construction management
staff who gave a demonstration of their information control system.
Lord Fraser’s Inquiry will continue on Monday (8th March) when John
Home Robertson, Convener of the Holyrood Progress Group, and Linda Fabiani,
a member of the Group, will give evidence.
